FAQ Page

On this page you will list questions that you expect people to ask you about your business, along with the answers to those questions.

Some examples could be:

a. When is your grand opening?

b. What are your store hours?

c. What makes your company different?

d. What is your return policy?

e. What is the history of your store?

f. Why did you start your business?

In Dreamweaver

You should already see a new file when you open Dreamweaver. If not, click File --> New... and in the window that pops up, click Create (Basic Page should be highlighted in the Category window and HTML highlighted in the Basic Page window).

It is a good idea to make the questions a different color than the answers, or to find another way to distinguish questions from answers so that the page is easy to read. It is important to make this page neat and well-organized. If a customer has trouble following what you've written or if the page doesn't look professional, that customer will go to a different company.

Saving

The first time you save a page, remember that we have to name it something meaningful. It is especially important to make sure the file is named correctly in this case, as we are going to be creating links that will not work if spelled wrong.

1. Click File --> Save As…

2. Name the file “faq.html”

3. Make sure the file is being saved in your personal documents folder and click Save
