Shop Page

On this page you will provide descriptions of the products you will sell or the services you will provide, along with the prices for each. It is important to make this page neat and well-organized. If a customer has trouble following what you've written or if the page doesn't look professional, that customer will go to a different company.

In Dreamweaver

You should already see a new file when you open Dreamweaver. If not, click File --> New... and in the window that pops up, click Create (Basic Page should be highlighted in the Category window and HTML highlighted in the Basic Page window).

List each product you are selling or service you are providing, along with its price and description (if necessary). Include as many products or services that you have space for.

If you have enough room on the page, find pictures of your products

1. Go to google and type in the relevant key words

2. Click Images at the top of the google results page

3. Right-click on the image you want and select Save Image As... or Save Image to Desktop

4. Go back to Dreamweaver, place the cursor where you want the image to appear and click Insert --> Image

5. Locate the picture you just saved in the window that pops up and click Choose.

Saving

The first time you save a page, remember that we have to name it something meaningful. It is especially important to make sure the file is named correctly in this case, as we are going to be creating links that will not work if spelled wrong.

1. Click File --> Save As…

2. Name the file “shop.html”

3. Make sure the file is being saved in your personal documents folder and click Save
