5th Grade - John Turskey

John Turskey - a native of Ocean Beach - graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in History and was awarded his Teaching Credential from Washington State. After graduating from Gonzaga, John returned to San Diego and taught for one year before entering the banking world. There he worked in trust and capital investment companies. After seventeen years, he returned to his first love, teaching. He has been teaching at Sacred Heart Academy since 2001 and truly enjoys his work.
