8th Grade - Kathryn Valenti

Kathryn Valenti grew up in a military family so there was a lot of moving around. The family finally settled down in Orange County. She attended St. Pius V School and then, St. Paul High School. Kathryn graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelors degree. AFter getting married, she moved to San Diego with her husband. She later received her teaching credential from Chapman College. She had previous experience working with developmentally disabled children and adults which influenced her to pursue her teaching credential.

Kathryn has been teaching at Sacred Heart Academy since 1990. She has two children who have attended Sacred Heart. She enjoys being a part of the SHA community and is grateful for all the support that she has received throughout the years.
