3rd Grade - Susan Colvin

Sue Colvin has been teaching at Sacred Heart Academy for 30 years. The highly motivated students, supportive parents, and the caring, respectful principal and faculty has made teaching at Sacred Heart a joy for her. She is especially honored to be able to teach about her Catholic faith, and to teach the excellent Core Knowledge Curriculum. Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kean University and holds a New Jersey Teaching Credential. She also holds a California Teaching Credential earned at San Diego State University, and a Diocesan Religion Certificate from the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.

Sue has been happily married to husband, Christopher for 23 years. She is an avid Charger and Padre fan, and enjoys spending time in her garden, attending the symphony and other cultural events, and holiday decorating. Her very special time is taking long walks on the beach with her American Bulldog, Miss Buffy.
